How do you like your eggs done?
I like my eggs big white and stone and preferably in the middle of a traffic island in San Antonio Ibiza.
I digress, it was a wet and wild Thursday the thirteenth of December when Mark Jones https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Jones_(Wall_of_Sound) and I headed in the silver dream machine to another favourite egg, the venue that is The Egg London http://www.egglondon.co.uk/ for this year’s D J Mag Best of British event and awards.
After a pit stop in Hammersmith for our favourite chippy tea @ http://hookedfishbar.co.uk/ we then floundered on to find an awaiting parking space outside the venue. The peeps on the door were amazing and we were soon exploring the many many fabulous rooms and floors that are the Egg London.
We landed in the loft which had a “He She They” vibe and caught site of Fat Boy Slim. The old Skool mood was set as we then headed to the middle floor were Jamz Supernova was in full flow. See Radio 1 Extra https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05tqk1x
Then 2 became 3 and our Pal Paul Linney https://www.spectrumdisco-dj.co.uk/ rocked up. It wasn’t long before we were all delighted to be entertained by Adobe resident D J Ellie Cocks and indeed as the evening unfolded excitement built and built.
As the clock struck 11.30pm the awards were chimed out and the list of winners was revealed – see the list of well earned recipients https://djmag.com/tag/Egg
The circle and triangle vibes were off the scale as the final award went to our pal Fat Boy Slim

To my utter amazement and delight the award was presented by Irvine Welsh – author of Trainspotting and who we had bumped into at the Brighton Music Conference earlier this year, and at Pikes in Ibiza. We were then completely blown away when Fat Boy went back to back with Eats Everything https://eatseverything.com/
Circles and Triangles prevailed as the lads went on to blow the bloody roof off.
