Wow, 2017 is the year that We Are FSTVL became the must go to festival. It’s inspiring how such a young music festival has torn up the script and delivered one of the best line-ups you will see this year. Seriously. The festival is now over 3 days between 26th-28th May 2017 as the festival organisers have introduced a camping area this year. Nestled in the heart of Hornchurch, Essex, We Are FSTVL boasts world class artists from all over the world who will be playing to 50,000 fans. We covered the festival in 2016 which you can read here – the festival kicked our summer off last year and we’re confident it can yours to.
I thoroughly enjoyed the 2016 festival and was very impressed with it from start to finish. Let’s take a seat as we work out way through the line-up which is in store for you. Festival organisers have just released phase 3 which just makes a stunning line up even better. You’re going to be treated to the likes of Carl Cox, Craig David, Dizzee Rascal, Basement Jaxx, Dubfire, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Hannah Wants, Solomun, The Martinez Bros, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Apollonia, Paco Osuna, Jonas Blue, MK, Darius Syrossian, Bontan, Claptone, Sam Divine, Sonny Fodera… and breath! Now you’ve recovered from reading that 150+ artists strong line up, what do you think of that? Pretty incredible for a festival nestled in the countryside of Upminster, Essex. In to it’s fifth year and was crowned the best UK dance festival in 2016, it has stepped up it’s game as it continues to grow from strength to strength. Last year the festival was sold out and with a heavyweight set up this year it’s going to be one not to miss. The festival has introduced a new tent for 2017 called ‘Terminal 1’ which is a 450ft long, 45ft high, 150ft wide tent with 24,000ft of LED lights, 1200 lights, 10,000 fireworks and 10 lasers. The preview video is below, something tells me that this tent will be the place to be.
You’re going to find all of your favourite labels at We Are FSTVL like Paradise, Defected In The House, Circo Loco, Glitterbox, Do Not Sleep, Pukka Up, Love Juice, Faction and many more great DJs in between. You can now camp on the Friday which allows you to have your own unique parties to set up you up for the weekend. You have Kaluki boasting Steve Lawler, Andrea Oliva, Darius Syrossian, Solardo to name a few that will be exclusive to campers only. Sam Divine hosts her first D-Vine Sounds tent at the festival where she will be playing alongside the likes of Miguel Campbell, Grant Nelson, Mambo Brothers and Franky Rizardo. You have the option of standard camping and VIP which gives you upgrades on your essentials like showers, loos, area, bar and entrance. The camping village treats campers to giant pillow fights, supermarkets, bars, hot hubs, pamper parlour and other quirky goodies. You can choose the way you live the weekend by booking pop up rooms, superior tents, suites or you can chuck up your one man tent and rave the day away.
