The voting is open for the DJ Mag Top 100 clubs award!

Ibiza has the best clubs in the world and this list has reflected that for a long time, with Ibiza’s clubs regularly placing in the top 10, whilst Space has won it on countless occasions.

Here below, we preview the candidates from the dance music capital of the world, Ibiza.

USHUAIA

Simply the best open air venue in the world, Ushuaia is 21st century outside clubbing at its absolute finest. Set in beautiful surroundings, a hands in the air unbeatable atmosphere, lasers, fire, lights, airplanes flying in overhead, cold air cannons and a massive cinematic screen pumping out visuals. The biggest names in dance music hosted weekly events here in 2014, so expect more of the same in 2015.

AMNESIA

Amnesia hosts some of the biggest and most longstanding events on the island. In the main room the DJs control the music action from the booth way up high to the masses below, complete with large stacks of loud, powerful speakers and massive ice cannons which regularly blows out cold air to keep the clubbers cool throughout the night.

SPACE

Space, which is held in cult status by many clubbers, and has regularly won this DJ Mag award for best club in the world. There are no more words other than to say it is simply legendary.

PACHA

Pacha Ibiza is one of the most gorgeous clubs in the world. It was the first club built on the island in 1973, and is now a massive worldwide clubbing brand with venues in some of the best capital cities.

PRIVILEGE

Privilege is massive – holding 10,000 people it is officially the biggest club in the world. The venue is stunning, set in a huge dome with various gardens, and back rooms. The setting for the main room is a grand DJ stage, with Privilege’s world famous cinema screen behind the DJ booth blurring out colourful visuals alongside the DJ sets.

DC10

DC10 offers quality deep tech house from well-known residents and international guests, with its biggest event by far being the Monday event Circo Loco.

ES PARADIS

Es Paradis hosts their famous Fiesta Del Agua water parties. Shaped as a massive pyramid, Es Paradis is one of San Antonio’s most easily spotted sights.

BOOOM

Relative newcomer to the scene Booom, which is situated facing the marina near Pacha, hosted one of the most talked about parties of last summer, Defected.

SANKEYS

Sankeys is an impressive four room venue brought to us from its Manchester counterparts, and hosts some of the island’s most talked about and popular parties.

GATECRASHER/EDEN

Although 2014 was a year to forget for Gatecrasher/Eden, we’ve included it in this list simply for the excellent times we’ve had at the venue in years gone by. We’re hoping that in 2015 they can put their problems behind them and resurrect this San Antonio venue back in to one of Ibiza’s best clubs yet again.
