If you’ve never been to Sankeys Ibiza before it’s a dark and intimate club in the middle of a residential estate in Playa den Bossa. Tonight Sankeys plays host to Tribal Sessions, a weekly Tuesday party perfect for the venue.
We arrived just before 3am when Shlomi Aber is laying down some pounding beats. We’ve been a fan of Shlomi’s productions for years, and tonight is the first time we’ve seen him live. Tonight he brought brilliant mixing, and a well build set ending on some driving and melodic techno.
Another DJ/producer we’ve been a fan of for a good while is Alan Fitzpatrick. Today was his birthday, and he was clapping away in DJ box, interacting with the crowd and loving every minute. He played some tracks that built well and gave a genuine well earned pay off when they kicked back in. The heart pounded, the speakers vibrated and dance floor shook to its foundations.
