We’re a big fan of Solomun here at Uneek Ibiza. We attended his closing party in October at Pacha last year, and his opening party this season also. Tonight at Ushuaia was one of 3 dates he’s doing there this summer.

Playing his usual beautiful rolling groovy tracks, Solomun had the Ushuaia stage set up differently to the normal major EDM acts, with just a simple table on stage and all his mates behind him. With the added cool visuals on the cinematic screen behind, Solomun was bouncing around the stage, giving it the occasional fist pump to the crowd.

Playing the likes of My My My! by Arman van Helden, D-Nox & Beckers – Beefcake (King Rock remix), Foals – Calling Out Your Name (Solomun remix), Electrobrain – Lime and finally ending on the classic Moloko – Sing It Back.

Ushuaia’s beautiful surroundings are perfect for Solomun’s cool and groovy house sound. The best open air venue in the world, complete with lights, confetti, air cannons, lasers, airplanes flying overhead, and that famous hummingbird logo. Catch him at Ushuaia next in September 2016.
