The closing of Resistance at Privilege went out with a bang!

I arrived at the world’s largest club around 1am and headed straight for the main room where Sasha and John Digweed started the night just perfectly. Surrounded by the very talented Ultra Angels (who also perform at the Ultra Music Festival and Resistance parties worldwide.) The uplifting beats had everyone joyful and moving to the music. It was a pleasant atmosphere on the dance floor as the duo had everyone in a trance.

Over in the Vista Club Italian DJ and producer Deborah De Luca was laying it down as the whole room danced to her hard techno. Tracks such as – Minimal Romance (Luigi Peretti & Beni Bonkers Remix) by Droplex & Monolix were selected. Her set was well received as she mixed it up with a little bit of minimal and acid sounding beats.

Back in the packed to the rafters main room it was time for Adam Beyer. This was the first time for me witnessing Adam Beyer live. I really enjoyed his set as he surprised me with his style of play. The music was hard but minimal and a little bit of trance mixed in as he dropped BBE – 7 days and one week. This of course sent the crowd into a frenzy!

As 3.30am approached it was time for Adam Beyer to hand over to the king of Ibiza that is Carl Cox! He started by thanking the crowd for coming before swiftly throwing it down with some tech – house beats! The Ultra Angels danced in the air above on a swing as they synchronised with each other.

Overall the first closing of the season was a success! The world’s largest club was packed from start to finish and everyone was in high spirits! Different genres of electronic music were selected which makes Resistance a party that has something for everyone!
