On Wednesday 10th July, we headed to DC10 to check out Jamie Jones’ Paradise party. Paradise has been building for a few years now and is considered one of the best parties on the island. It was our first visit to DC10 also in a few years, and were impressed by the production, lighting, sound system, and most importantly, on a hot July evening, the air conditioning in the club! Paradise’s theme for 2019 is ‘Colour Odyssey’ – centred around lights and the entire colour spectrum.

It was an impressive line up tonight in both rooms, and first up on the Terrace was Patrick Topping, who mixed between vocal house and techno. It was a great set that set the tone for the rest of the night.

Over in the club room, Alan Fitzpatrick was laying down his trademark techno sounds, with the odd classic thrown in, such as Salsoul Nugget, from way back in the day (circa 2000).

Back on the Terrace, Jamie Jones finished the night, sending the crowd home with big smiles on their faces at 7am, as the sun was coming up. As the sun was rising through the windows of the Terrace as he finished his set, it was a truly special Ibiza moment.

Paradise at DC10 Wendesdays until closing party on October 2 with some of the most revered names in the underground playing across the 17 weeks, including Joseph Capriati, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Giorgia Angiuli (who will be performing live) and Anna. If you’re on the white isle any given Wednesday this summer, get to Paradise!
