Mosaic – Pacha 9th August

Main Room – Maceo Plex // Carl Craig // Garden of God // Maher Daniel
Prism Room –Stephan Barnem // Fiberroot // Alex Kennon

After a marathon 10 gigs in 10 locations within 24 hours on the White Isle a few weeks back, Mr Plex, or Eric to his friends was back at his weekly night Mosaic in Pacha. Yet again the night was an absolute success taking revelers on a journey with Maceo firmly at the helm of the ship.

There has been confusion as to why Pacha was chosen as a venue for such a tech based night but the surroundings seem to have no influence whatsoever over the musical story that Maceo takes the crowd on with his sets.

Highlights of the night included Carl Craig playing a superb version of Robert Hood’s Floorplan, and a legendary group who’s track to has made a massive reappearance on the Island, Eurythmics– Sweet Dreams had a fantastic reception when dropped by Maceo.

However biggest surprise of the evening was in the Prism Room with Fiberroot playing a phenomenal set with every genre from groovy, hip moving Salsa to emotional tech – the artist signed to Plex’s Ellumlabel really did not disappoint.

This week promises to be yet another incredible evening with Stephan Bodzin, Agents of Time and the man who can do no wrong – Kolsch, joining Maceo in the main room for Mosaic Week 13.
