If you have a car in Ibiza and want to check out a quiet (yet pebbly) beach cove then head to Es Xarcu. It’s tranquil, peaceful and picturesque! We ate at the restaurant there and had some lovely fresh fish – in fact so fresh is the fish that for some dishes you have to ring up a day or 2 in advance to request, presumably as they have to go and catch it first!
Head to the Southern coast of Ibiza, in between Es Torrent and Cala Jondal, and take the signs for Es Xarcu and Blue Marlin. You’ll come across a small winding dirt track, which you have to wisely navigate down to the beach. Be careful, it isn’t for the faint hearted, but the view from the bottom is worth it! Enjoy!
