After 13 fantastic years at Eden, Judge Jules and his Judgement team have freshened things up for the 2014 Ibiza season by crossing the road to party in the beautiful surroundings of Es Paradis. Judgement Fridays has joined forces with Fiesta Del Agua, Es Paradis’ world famous water party. So if raving away to some great tunes and getting wet is your cuppa tea, read on!
Here is what Jules had to say about the move across to Es Paradis via his blog on www.judgejules.net – “we started Judgement Sundays at Eden in 2000. Back then it was a big risk, and I had no idea that we’d still be going strong 14 years later. In fact, the brand outlived the venue. Following a period of instability, Eden was taken over by Birmingham clubbing brand Gatecrasher just before Summer 2014. By this point, I’d already decided that it was time for a re-location. The increasingly corporate feel of some clubs in Ibiza makes Es Paradis stand out all the more, especially to someone who treasures the earthiness and soul of the way clubs in Ibiza used to be. Es Paradis is a one-of-a-kind superclub, with its Roman structures and uniquely Mediterranean feel. It’s already been a flying start to our 2014 season at Es Paradis. Adding a sprinkle of the Judgement magic, we’ve made a happy home for ourselves in 2014.”
Jules has been joined on the decks this summer by the likes of Micky Slim, Harrison and Alex Kunnari, with guest appearances still to come from Tristan D, Genix and Paul Webster. Uneek Ibiza visited Judgement Friday in early August, and Jules was providing a set of driving, vocal tracks, complete with remixes and acapellas. He played the likes of Brian Haze – Matrix, JetFire – Groove Street, Kiesza – Hideaway (Dzeko & Torres Remix), Ellie Goulding – Burn (Tiësto Remix) and remixes of Fatboy Slim’s Praise You and Energy 52’s Café Del Mar, all to the backdrop of acrobatic girl dancers and water fizzing down onto the dance floor – it was a great atmosphere.
