We headed back to Playa d’en Bossa less than 24 hours after Ushuaïa’s closing party for Hï Ibiza’s first ever closing. They’d gone all out for it with a strong line and midday finish – reminiscent of the former club on its site legendary closing parties over the years.

We headed to the club around 2am where Andrea Oliva was smashing it in the main room (Theatre).

In the club itself there’s great lights, lasers and sound. The production is spot on. They’ve had some of the best events on the island this summer with the likes of Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren and In The Dark being particular favourites.
We spent a lot of the closing party dancing away in the toilets, or rather, The Wild Corner as it is officially known. With cubicals each side of the room, a DJ booth in the centre, and loads of space to dance in front or behind the DJ box, it is a room that generates a great atmosphere, especially at the closing party, with Melon Bomb in the house!

2017 was a transition year no doubt for Hï Ibiza, as it’s first year on the site of officially the world’s greatest ever club, Space Ibiza. I’m sure 2018 will be even better as it continues to stamp its own memories on Ibiza’s clubland.
