Glitterbox debuted in 2014 on the island from the Defected stable and this season have gone from strength to strength with their move to Space on Fridays. Building the night around the best classic and contemporary house and disco, the event has offered something different, providing a place where DJs – many of whom requested to play – can spin records they can’t drop anywhere else.
Just some of the DJs to play this season include the likes of Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Tensnake,
David Morales, Kings Of Tomorrow and Norman Jay amongst others. Tonight’s closing party included Dimitri From Paris, Todd Terry, Breakbot, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Pippi and Copyright. The party is busy and bustling with both the Terrace and Salon rooms open. We heard a lot of Defected current tracks and classics, such as “Jack Had A Groove”, “It’s Yours” and “Can You Feel It?”
