ANTS @ Ushuaïa is one of our favourite events on the island, and as Ibiza gears up for a fantastic first summer back post covid, ANTS INVASION has lead the way from the start this summer, with brilliant weekly line ups and atmosphere.

On Saturday May 28 we headed down to playa d’en Bossa to check out ANTS (whilst simultaneously trying to watch the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid!). Supported by the likes of wAFF, La Fleur and Andrea Oliva among others, our set of the night was by Scouse headliners Camelphat, who will have their own weekly residency at Ushuaïa starting on Tuesday 14 June. The lads’ debut album Dark Matter, released late 2020 featured the likes of “Cola”, “Panic Room”, “Breathe” and “Hypercolour”, and is heralded as one of the best electronic albums in recent years.

Camelphat always put on a show and tonight was no different, playing a great set, to a backdrop of typically excellent Ushuaïa production in the form of fireworks, confetti and air cannons. They ended their set on an Ibiza classic from way back (2000!) when – Modjo – Lady (Hear Me Tonight), providing a sing along to end the night and send the crowd off into the Balearic night with a smile on their faces.
