Ushuaia was a sea of blue For new event Blue’s opening party on June 30. With big logo above stage and blue curtains combined with a simple stage set up, we headed to the d’en Bossa open air venue in time to see headliner Oliver Heldens playing a set of varied house music. Heldens was having a great time behind the decks, dressed casually in tshirt and shorts and bouncing around the DJ box to each and every track. “I have got so much love for you Ibiza Ushuaia” said Heldens on the microphone towards the end of his set.
He played the likes of Nylon Strung- Underworld, Okay!, How Deep Is Your Love, Renegade Master and Bonkers! Heldens was joined by blue dancers on stage as he played big track after big track to keep the crowd energised the whole way through. It was a great atmosphere and combined with Ushuaia’s impressive lights, lasers and air cannons it was a visual and aural feast!
