The 2015 Ibiza season has seen Armin Van Buuren bring his A State Of Trance event to Ushuaia for the second consecutive summer. This year a rotating DJ box has been added to the swimming pool in the middle of the club for Armin to perform in – this just shows Armin’s innovative thought process to keep things interesting and different to other nights at the club.
With the likes of Jerome Isma-ae, Jochen Miller and Cosmic Gate on warm up duty, it was a big line up. Armin was bouncing and clearly loving being up and closer to the crowd with his hands in air Jesus like poses and played a set of his own material and remixes. He played the likes of his tracks – Save My Night, This Is What It Feels Like, Ping Pong, Not Giving Up On Love and Another You.
Armin loves playing at Ushuaia, he had a constant smile on his face, it was a great atmosphere. When he played Gaia – Empire Of Hearts he asked the crowd to build an empire of hearts and they duly obliged; cue everyone in crowd doing heart signs! He then asked “Ushuaia, who wants to go to Cafe Del Mar with me?” before playing a banging remix of the track which went down a storm! He also played the likes of Gareth Emery – U, Giangi Cappai – I Need U Now, Willem De Roo – Inception, Mr Probz – Waves, Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding – Outside, Kernkraft 400 – Zombie Nation and Eric Prydz – Generate.
A State Of Trance and Ushuaia are perfect partners. Ushuaia is 21st century outside clubbing at its absolute finest. Set in beautiful surroundings, a hands in the air unbeatable atmosphere, lasers, fire, lights, airplanes flying in overhead, cold air cannons and a massive cinematic screen pumping out visuals. This is a massive production event. The added introduction this year of 4 new electronic pillars only adds to its stadium like effects!
