Apollonia are the treble combination of Dan Ghenacia, Shonky, Dyed Soundorom. Last year they dropped their debut album Tour à Tour, a collection of tracks that represented their all night long b2b2b sessions.
“Ghenacia, Soundorom and Shonky, more than anything, came off as determined, as though nothing was going to hold them back—which is actually something you could say about everything they’ve done since releasing their well-received debut album, Tour á Tour…. ” — XLR8R
Now they’re back with three EPs featuring a carefully curated selection of remixers from Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky’s own closely-knit group of talented friends from electronic music’s underground scene, with Charles Webster, Edward, Hold Youth, Jovonn Berlin, Mike Shannon, Terence:Terry, The Martinez Brothers, and Thomas Melchior (in alphabetical order) putting their own fresh twist on Apollonia’s original works.
Tonight, Apollonia take over Miami Music Week 2016 with a legendary session on the Space Terrace b2b with legendry Music On DJ Marco Carola going well into the next day, and an appearance on the Carl Cox & Friends Stage at Ultra Music Festival on March 19, as well as performances at New York’s Blkmarket Membership on March 11 and SXMusic Festival in St. Maarten on March 12. The guys are fresh off The BPM Festival 2016 this year playing b2b2b in the jungle, on a rooftop and, to finish it all off, on the sand for their own Apollonia showcase.
