Ants at Ushuaia has been one of the best and most popular parties on the island this summer. A big hit with the workers and techno lovers alike, Ushuaia’s only underground event has been packed out each and every week through 2015.

We hit up the closing party on September 26 with a line up that had us salivating at the mouth! Andrea Oliver was joined by the likes of Kolsch, Gorgon City, UNER, Route 94 and Los Suruba.

We’ve seen Kolsch a number of times this summer, most notably in the Ants tent at Creamfields in the UK. Again tonight he was loving life DJing in his customary hat whilst bouncing up and down. Tonight Kolsch played a set of beautiful and melodic house music including his own ‘Unterwegs’, ‘Lorely’ and ‘Kings Of Tomorrow – Finally’.

Ants resident Andrea Oliver took over and started with a brilliant new remix of Green Velvet – Flash which repeated the words “cameras ready prepare the flash” over and over. The crowd lapped it up, and it went OFF! Check out our videos at – Andrea then played the likes of Oxio – Domino complete with Music Is The Answer vocal on top, Fatima Yamaha – What’s A Girl To Do, Joeski – Black Door, Fatboy Slim – Born Slippy, Alan Fitzpatrick – Love Siren before ending on the brilliant Luciano – Rise Of Angel (Andrea Oliver remix).

Ants’ brilliant PR, alongside their excellent music policy and great DJ bookings at one of the best venues in the world makes it a clubber’s dream. We will definitely be back for more in 2016!
