The flow of brilliant musical talent passing through Ibiza Rocks Hotel this year almost invites a “take it for granted” kind of attitude if like us you’ve been in town for most of the season. With that in mind All Saints was no exception.
The thought running through my mind as the day unfolded in Ibiza was what has become a regular weekly ritual of grab some grub and rock up to the Rocks and enjoying a drink with the Ibizan family to watch yet another incredible set by another incredible artist or artists. I wasn’t disappointed as All Saints tune after tune reverberated through the air. The girls quite literately owned the stage and indeed were at home playing to the home crowd.
The show eased along with a chilled vibe until the girls sang Bootie Call and the evening lifted a gear. A few more classic numbers and tracks from their new album Red Flag with This is War warmed the night air and Lady Marmalade really pulled the attention and a good old sing along ensued! A nice glow of nostalgia then filled our minds when the lovely lasses on stage mooched into Black Coffee. We then took up position in our favourite spot front of stage and slightly left for Never Ever – what a brilliant night filled with beautiful songs surrounded by amazing people singing and dancing to tunes past and present.
I guess the evening wouldn’t have been complete without the girls ending the evening’s proceedings on Pure Shores, which given the location was very apt indeed!
Take me to my beach! Great scenes for @AllSaintsOffic at @ibizarocks last night! pic.twitter.com/7B3LD74tVj
