Former DC10 residents Tale Of Us brought Afterlife to Privilege on Thursday June 29th for the first time in the world’s biggest club. As we arrived at the club around 2.30am Âme was just finishing his set with some hard techno beats in the vista club which was rammed full of people dancing under the infamous afterlife manakin that hangs from the ceiling.
Just before 3am Âme slowed down and played some melodic techno before Tale Of Us graced the decks. Excitement was building as they slowly took us on an intense musical journey. Even Solomun popped in to say hello and we were hoping he was going to play a few tunes, but no such luck!
Towards the end they played the likes of Patrice Bäumel – Engage, which got the whole crowd jumping. I managed to stay until around 6.30am, the crowd had eased off about 5am which was a relief so I had more room to dance! As the sun came shining through the beautiful Vista Room I decided it was time to leave. Overall a fantastic night with great music. Afterlife is one party you do not want to miss this summer!
