Feet East – Written by Mark Playle
We were recently kindly invited to head to the re launched 93 Feet East on a cold January evening. The taxi dropped us right outside the main entrance @ 150 Brick Lane in London, E1 6QL.
The drive into Brick Lane was buzzing with lots of colourful bars and restaurants, with lots of different people going about their business.
We approached the door and were swiftly and kindly shown inside. The first room was subtlety dressed with a long well lit and well stocked bar. The opposite side of the room had a substantial DJ box/area which was nicely positioned and to the right was a large window looking out onto the big outside area which would certainly be a fantastic spot in the summer (and indeed in the winter too) with its clever weather protections. The background music was great and we passed into the another large room via a decent sized passage and passed the very clean and smart washrooms. The large room was darker and a bit more moody – very imaginatively and calmly lit and decorated with some comfy seating, complete with another DJ and performing area.

We were well looked after by the friendly and smartly turned out bar staff who definitely knew their stuff. We were treated to complimentary food and drinks while the music played and the vibe grew. The lovely people promoting the venue told us with great enthusiasm all about the newness and excitement around 93 Feet East.
After looking around the fabulous art exhibition and some more music, nibbles and great conversation we went back into the first room. The music level rose and we started to really feel the club night vibe.
All in all we were very impressed with the whole new 93 Feet East venue.
