When I was asked to cover Ibiza’s Premium boat party I jumped at the chance! Having done a few seasons in Ibiza the only thing that I have not done is a boat party. Crazy I know! I headed down to the pier in Playa d’en Bossa to join the boat as the young crowds gathered. As I boarded the vessel of fun I was instantly welcomed with a sangria to get the party started!
I headed straight to the VIP area on the top deck. The spacious area allows more room to move which is always important on a floating party boat! For the first 30-60 minutes all is calm and everyone is on their best behaviour. As time passes and drinks flow it starts to get a little crazy and with a sound system like VOID then it’s only normal for people to want to dance! The mixture of music included new and old classic house and techno hits – Cola by CamelPhat and Elderbrook went down well as did Rhythm Is a Dancer by SNAP! Champagne was being sprayed everywhere as people danced under the sun having the time of their lives! Half way through the party it was time for the swim stop and for everyone to gather their bearings. The boat stopped in a nice quiet tranquil part of the island and some did get off for a swim. Yummy Oreo cupcakes got passed around for us to refuel for the second half of the party. It was a little rocky on the way back but this added to the fun of it. Remixes of Micheal Jackson Billy Jean had everyone signing and dancing. As we approached land it was time to say goodbye to our new found friends.

The CDLN sunset boat party certainly did not disappoint and I can see why it’s the most popular boat party on the island! For 89 Euros you get the sunset boat party experience plus free entry to O Beach, beach party at Bora Bora and 4 club entries. You can also add the premium VIP experience for an extra 50 Euros which you can use as bar credit at your VIP table. This can be used to buy bottles of champagne, cava or spirits. Having VIP means more room to dance, access to the DJ booth, VIP hostess, bottle service and access all areas. The boat party runs every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday!
