Miami Winter Music Conference will see a multitude of DJs perform at hundreds of events across the city.

Here’s 5 DJs you should definitely try and catch if you can (and if you’re not heading to Miami, then be sure to catch them in Ibiza 2016, or a dance music festival in the UK this coming summer);

  1. Eric Prydz

What more can be said about Eric Prydz that hasn’t already? Consistently our favourite DJ and producer here at Uneek Ibiza, he always rocks it. We’ve seen Prydz many times over the years in Ibiza, most recently in summer 2016 at Cream Ibiza – “Prydz played a set of progressive driving tracks, such as; Pryda – Loving You, Lexuspi – M.A.T.B Love, Rez – Underworld, Cirez D – Ruby, Cirez D – On Off before ending on his new track for summer 2015 Eric Prydz – Opus, which sent the crowd into raptures. It is such a great tune, with an epic build that is well worth the pay off!”

2. Kolsch

Danish DJ/Producer Kolsch has been smashing it now for a couple of years and making a real name for himself with his lovely melodic tracks. We seen him at Space Ibiza last summer, “Over in the Kehakuma room one of our favourite new DJs Kolsch was destroying it, playing a set full of melodic tracks. He has such a beautiful new and fresh sound, and as he bounced gracefully around the DJ box, you could tell he was loving it. He played the likes of Kolsch – Goldfisch, Paul Kalkbrenner – Feed Your Head (Kolsch remix), Christian Smith & Wehbba – Mutate, Maceo Plex – Solar Detroit, Bates45 – Sofia, Kolsch featuring Gregor Schwellenbach – The Road and Agoria – Think Different. He even headed into the crowd during his last song so he could be a part of the action. Afterwards, he received a clapping ovation from the crowd, who had witnessed one of the best sets of Ibiza 2015.”

3. Paul Oakenfold

One DJ you must see if you’re into trance is Paul Oakenfold. A complete legend of the scene and all around top bloke, we seen Oakey rock the world’s biggest club Privilege in Ibiza this past summer – “We arrived for Oakenfold’s set and witnessed a true lesson in trance from one of the biggest masters of the genre. Other DJs may have sold themselves to play more commercialised music, but Oakenfold has remained true to his roots and played a set of driving and melodic beautiful tracks. Oakey is a great performer to watch, constantly interacting with the crowd, who replied by raising their hands for every track.”

4. Fatboy Slim

An absolute legend of the scene, Fatboy’s Smile High Club tent has rocked festivals worldwide recently, and he was on hand to step in for Spandau Ballet at Ibiza Rocks last summer too on the island – “Fatboy was clearly loving his set tonight – it was a party set complete with big tunes, air horns, lights and lasers. Towards the end of his set, as promised he incorporated Spandau Ballet into the action. He played their track True which then lead into Put Your Fu*king Hands Up and his anthem Right Here Right Now. He then ended on perhaps his biggest track of all, Praise You, before coming to the front of stage and thanking the crowd, to which they duly returned the favour by praising him!” We also seen him at Creamfields in the UK, check the video below!

5. Armin Van Buuren

Armin brings his A State Of Trance sound to millions worldwide on a weekly basis! His nights in Ibiza at Ushuaia are legendry – “Arms outstretched and playing to thousands of his loyal followers, Armin Van Buuren was tonight in his element, the ultimate showman. Add to that a great atmosphere, lasers, fire, lights, airplanes flying in overhead, cold air cannons and a massive cinematic screen pumping out visuals and you have the recipe for a great event. Expect ASOT to be back in 2016 at Ushuaia even bigger and better!”
